Oxford Cap one Row Stitch
This lace shoe is cut with Oxford style lacing. It is a plain shoe with a toe cap. It has a vamp and quarters joined together by stitching across the middle of the shoe. The toe-cap is straight and has one row of stitching along the edge of the cap. It is a dressy style of shoe. In the photograph the shoe has a squarish toe but it can be made with a rounded or pointed toe shape. It is sometimes made in patent leather with a thin sole to be worn with a dinner jacket.
